Your Rights Related to Personal Data Protection

Pursuant to article 11 of PDPL and provided that you apply to us personally with a valid ID, you have the right to request;

  • To learn whether your personal data are processed or not,
  • To demand for information as to if your personal data have been processed,
  • To learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether these personal data are used in compliance with the purpose,
  • To know the third parties to whom your personal data are transferred nationwide or abroad,
  • To request the rectification of the incomplete or inaccurate data, if any, and to request reporting of the operations carried out to third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred,
  • To request the erasure or destruction of your personal data if the reasons to process do no longer prevail and to request reporting of the operations carried out to third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred,
  • To object to the occurrence of a result against the person himself/herself by analysing the data processed solely through automated systems,
  • To claim compensation for the damage arising from the unlawful processing of your personal data.

However, as per the provisions of article 28/2 of the Personal Data Protection Law; you shall not use the aforementioned rights, except the right to claim compensation for the damage, in the following cases where personal data processing:

As defined in the “Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures for the Request to Data Controller” published by the Personal Data Protection Authority in the Official Gazette #30356 dated March 10th, 2018, your requests in your application will be responded free of charge; however, if your request is to be responded in writing, no fee will be charged up to ten pages, but 1 Turkish Lira may be charged per page over ten pages. In cases where the request is responded by means of recording medium like CD, flash memory, fee that will not exceed the cost of the recording medium may be charged. If your request is made due to the fault of our party, the fee will be refunded.
